History has recorded that the entertainment industry began when the first time a caveman picked up a stick and beat a rhythm on a log which his companions danced to. The tune was not captivating but the desire to entrain was there.

In our present time, there are thousands of actors and entertainers who became famous – loved and idolized by their million fans. Although at the time when some of them became infamous – they were left behind by their fans.

Entertainment is a cultural aspect that differed from country to country or region to region. One could go back to the caveman days and find points of entertainment.

In our present time, there is Asian entertainment, Western entertainment and Middle Eastern entertainment. British entertainment would differ from American entertainment. In rural America entertainment was much different than urban America of the 1800s or 1900s.

The 1800s were local and state fairs near harvest time. Urban entertainment took place in cities the year round in theaters. Modern entertainment in the U.S. began in New Orleans and New York City. The Catskill Mountains was headed up by Jewish entertainers who eventually found their way to Hollywood and films.

During and following WW2, the entertainment industry was centered in Las Vegas. While country entertainers found their way to the mecca of country entertainment such as Nashville’s Grand Ole Opry in the 1930s.

There are thousands of actors and entertainers who became famous – loved and idolized by their million fans. Although at the time when some of them became infamous – they were left behind by their fans.

However, there are some actors and other entertainers too even though they died long ago – they are still alive in every hearts of their fans from generations to generations. In some occasions and gatherings, they are still the hot subjects for love and respects.
