According to the Collins English Dictionary Fraud is defined as: "deceit, trickery, sharp practice, or breach of confidence, perpetrated for profit or to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage".
Is it lawful to involve fraud to our awesome writing hobby? What benefits we will get from this trick?
Fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain. A month ago, I had an interesting conversation with a friend (here name is withheld) who happened also a Triond contributor.
However, she had been kicked out from Triond. Also she was constrained from accessing to her Google AdSense Account.
She said, ”I wrote at least more than six hundred original articles and published them to the different websites powered by Triond. My monthly income from writing with Triond for the past two years was impressive aside from my Google AdSense monthly earnings.”
When I asked her, Why Triond evicted her? Also why she had been deprived from accessing her Google AdSense Account? She did not answer them directly instead, she had left me some rewarding advices: (1) To invite friends, family and relatives to visit and read your awesome articles is OK but never tell them or suggest them to click ads found on your pages. (2) Just let them click the ads according to their will. (3) Do not use pay- per-click advertisements for your articles – they are also considered as fraud. (4) Never click ads found on your own articles pages. (5) Of course, you can click some ads from other pages though you must see to it that you like and interested with those ads.
Aside from personal gain, another motive of fraud is to damage another individual. Last March 23, 2011, I received a message from Google AdSense Crawler Team said, “AdSense crawlers has blocked this URL - How Do Numbers Tell Our Life Path and Our Hearts Desires--part One. That’s one of my most viewed article ever published at Triond. And it generated the highest content earnings. Yes. I had been a victim of fraud added that particular period my Gmail account was hacked, Triond website was blocked in Saudi Arabia for 8 days, I received threat from John Watson IV and someone has plagiarized one of my works!
