Before the end of 2010, my Triond profile page has recorded an additional 500 views. It ocurred during the month of December 2010. Now my views badge is already 1000. That is awesome for me as it has increased my Triond income!

December 31, 2010, my Triond views has reached to 124, it was my busiest day ever recorded compared to my previous days statistics at Triond. And out of 124 views, one of my articles published re New Year’s Day is Not Always January One received 102 views. My viewers came from the USA. This record is really awesome for me as a newbie. This means an increase of my Triond earnings.

During the month of December 2010, my articles have reached so far to the following countries: United States garnered 50% of viewers, Saudi Arabia 16% of viewers, India 10% of viewers, Philippines 7% of viewers, Canada 6% of viewers, Kuwait 6% of viewers and China 5% of total viewers.

And also during the month of December 2010, I notice that the referring sites are working together to bring traffics and views to my Triond articles pages. The number one referring site is www.triond.com, www.google.com, www.webupon.com, www.google.ca, www.scienceray.com, www.bizcovering.com, www.stumbleupon.com, www.google.co.in,http://angmanlilika.blogspot.com, and www.writinghood.com. How Many Days You Take Off Work During The Year 2010

This is another silly question that needs not to be taken seriously. This article will give us some details on the number of days we take off work during the year 2010. Again we will apply the perfect and universal branch of science which is Mathematics, by applying the four basic operations – addition, subtraction, division and multiplication.

Assuming you are working five days a week for eight hours, the normal working time for an employee for a day without overtime. A year is equals to 365 days, if it is leap year + 1. The 365 days are equals to 52 weeks (365/7). A week is equals to 7 days. A day is equals to 24 hours or 1,440 minutes (24×60). An hour is equals to 60 minutes.

There are about 365 day’s available works for you in a year. You work from Monday to Friday and 2 days away from work for 52 weeks which are equals to 104 days (2 x 52). So the total remaining days available work for you are equals to 261 days (365 days – 104 days) or equals to 6,264 hours (261×24 = 6,264) or equals to 375,840 minutes(6,264×60 = 375,840).

Everyday you work 8 hours and away for 16 hours from work. Sixteen hours for 261 days are equals to 174 days or 4,176 hours (261 days x 16 hrs = 4,176 hrs/24hrs = 174 days) you’re away from work. So the total remaining day’s available work for you is 87 days (261 days – 174 days = 87 days).

During working days, you take 15 minutes coffee/snacks break in the morning and another 15 minutes coffee/snacks break in the afternoon aside from 1 hour for your lunch. So during the normal working hours of the day, you don’t work for 1 hour and 30 minutes everyday instead, you only work 6hours and 30 minutes for five days.

One hour and 30 min. for your coffee break and lunch everyday are equals to 90 minutes. Ninety minutes for 87 days are equals to 7,830 minutes or 130.5 hours (87 days x 90 min = 7,830 min/60 min = 130.5 hours). The 130.5 hours are equals to 5.4375 days (130.5 hours/24 hours = 5.4375 days). So the total remaining day’s available work for you is 81.5625 days (87 days – 5.4375 days) or rounded off to 82 days.

Usually you take 2 days sick leave as per your work contract per year. At this time the number of day’s available work for you is equals to 80 days. Every year you are off for holidays such 1 day for National day, 2 days for Saints and Souls day, 1 day forChristmas, 1 day for New Year, 1 day for Labor Day and another 1 day for February 14 which is equals to 7 days. So the remaining total day’s available work for you is equals to 73 days. And every year you take usually 15 days vacation – leaving 58 days, the total number of day’s available work for you.

During the year 2010 you only worked for 58 days. What did you do for the 307days? As I said this is not to be taken seriously but look at the computation – it gives you an idea for a change this coming 2011. Imagine that you spent more days on sleep and relaxation! When I go deeper analyzing it, my brain started to react and arrived a conclusion that maybe this is one of the many reasons why POVERTY is distinct throughout the world!

Do you know how to calculate your exact age? That may sound a silly question. Every time you celebrate your birthday, your age increases and that are true. You have to accept it. People are not growing younger. This article will guide you how to determine your exact age.

For me exact age means the exact number of years, the exact number of months and the exact number of days of your life in this planet. Your knowledge in Mathematics will be applied here to compute your exact age. It maybe by applying addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.

Before computing your exact age, first you have to familiarize the months of year and days of months. There are twelve months in a year such as (1) January – 31 days, (2) February – 28 days plus 1, if it is leap year, (3) March – 31 days, (4) April – 30 days, (5) May - 31, (6) June – 30 days, (7) July – 31, (8) August – 31 days, (9) September – 30 days, (10) October – 31 days, (11) November – 30 days and (12) December - 31 days.

Assuming you want to know your exact age today. Your birth date recorded on your birth certificate is December 23, 1980. Today is December 23, 2010. Your exact age is 30year old today. How did you arrive that answer?

Looking at those dates, you immediately subtracted (2010 – 1980) = 30. This is right because you were born with the same month and day.

The proper computation for your exact age based from those dates and by applying subtraction method will be: Present date minus your Birthday date as shown below – starting subtracting the day then month then year.

2010 – 12 – 23 - the present date, (year, month, day) December 23, 2010

1980 – 12 – 23- your birth date, (year, month, day) December 23, 1980  

0030 –  0  -  0  - your exact age, 30year old 

What if you were born on December 29, 1980? How old are you today? To get your exact age here, you will apply the same formula: Present date minus Birth date plus Borrowing the Year, the Month and Days and apply Addition and Subtractionmethods. 

2010 – 12 – 23 - the present date, (year, month, day) December 23, 2010

1980 – 12 – 29- your birth date, (year, month, day) December 29, 1980  

    x        x      x   – your exact age today 

Step One: You cannot subtract 29 from 23 as 29 is higher than 23. What you will do is to borrow days from month and add them to 23. In this calculation the number of days of every month is ignored. It is normally believed that a month is equals to 30 days. So 23 become 53 days (23+30). 

Step Two: Because you borrowed one month which is equals to 30 days from the month of present date, the 12 became 11. Now you cannot subtract 12 from 11 as 12 is higher than 11. What you will do is to borrow months from year and add them to 11. One year is equals to 12 months. So 11 become 23 months (11+12). 

Step Three: After borrowing 1 year which is equals to 12 months, the year 2010 become 2009.

Now to get your exact age, consider the changes of the present date December 23, 2010 which is 2010-12-23 became 2009 the year, 23 the number of months and 53 the number of days or 2009-23-53. While your birthdate remains the same as shown below.

2009 – 23 – 53 - the present date, (year, month, day) December 23, 2010 has changed.   

1980 – 12 – 29- your birth date, (year, month, day) December 29, 1980 remains the same. 

    29 - 11 -  24 - So today you are 29 year old, 11 months and 24 days. Happy Birthday.

They are there to support you as they also wanted you to support them by viewing and reading our published articles – no matter how good and brilliantly we wrote them. PTC or Paid To Click is an online business that draws traffic from people aiming money from home. PTC is the bridge connecting adverstisers and consumers. The advertiser pays for displaying ads on the PTC website, and a part of this payment goes to the viewer when he views the advertisement.

Allstarbux.com is a PTC website. I found this site interesting. Although this site is operated by people who are hoaxers and scammers. They offer all features of today’s PTC technology, including instant purchase processing and referral renting. Their payout minimum policy is downed to $50from 1000$. 

When you become their member you will get paid by visiting their sponsor’s ads. By clicking those ads featured in their site you will earn $10 per click and $10 per referral click. Everyday there are at least four or more ads assigned to your account page to click. As a member you have access to detailed statistics of your earnings and your referral’s activity.

Here a member should open first an account with Paypal or Alert Pay. When a member requests cashout, Allstarbux will send his request cashout on them. Every now and then Allstarbux is sending letters to their members to remind to cashout low, as for them it is the key to receiving payouts faster but with a condition that a member should have to upgrade first its membershipby paying with some amounts. And that money he paid to Allstarbux will be used by them to pay him. To prove that this site is a scam, I registered there.

Allstarbux has a forum section where you can share and discuss all matters about Allstarbux activities though all your ideas, thoughts and suggestions will pass through the approval of theAllstarbux Admin before they will be posted to the forum. There is topic in the forum that shows payments they paid to its members including photos of Paypal or Alert Pay receipts.

At Allstarbux I had clicked at least 7 ads. The seven ads are equivalent to 70$. At the time I requested it to cashout, my request was refused. Triond Breaks Records

This might be considered as one of my silly thoughts though this is what I feel. And I could not just leave it somewhere else as the idea is popping up in my head. I am not going to compare Triond with the other sites I am also contributing but the impression has marked on my brain. Triond made it and breaks the records!

My December Gift to Triond Community was approved in just less than two minutes by Triond. It happened on December 1, 2010. Triond’s fast approval has impressed me so much. And this impression has already marked on my brain.

I am not going to compare Triond to other sites where I am also writing though the impression I got on December 1, 2010 gave me an idea that Triond made it and no other site has done it yet so far. Was it because Triond is using a powerful and a sophisticated approving tool or Triond staff are always on alert?

When I shared the idea to our Triond forum one of the replies said, “I’ve gotten articles published in 10 seconds. Some of the articles pending process is automatic.” How really fast it was? Does the article has passed to be reviewed?

Another reply said, “Triond usually approves or reject articles submitted to them very fast, but I encountered a very long delay in reviewing my post since yesterday that I have re submitted it for review 3 times. To my dismay that my article still under pending for review till now. Is there anything wrong?“ My answer to this message, “Wish Triond can read your message here, friend. I also experienced the same. Sometimes it took me six hours waiting for their approval.”

Aside from Triond, I am also contributing articles and other stuff to other sites such, Allvoices, Bukisa and Wikinut. Their approving times range from 5 min, 10 min, 15 min, an hour or a day after submission.

I am only honest to say so the most abused words, “First impression lasts longer.”

Declined Articles are Still Sources for Online Income

I believe that learning from my mistakes sometimes help me become a professional. This is what I thought and would like to share it to others the lessons I learned from my experience and from making mistakes.

During weekends, I always love watching the Star Wars movies. On those movies, Yoda had become my favorite character actor. Some of his dialogues are useful to motivate people. From him I learned that there is no try in life. There are only two choices to choose: “Do or Do not.” This article will answer – How to make money from those declined articles based from my choice.

For the past three months I am contributing articles at Triond, I received so far a total of six declined articles that cannot be deleted by myself. Those rejections started on August 17, 2010 to November 9, 2010. The declined articles are What Value an Article?, The Cleansing Fountain, The Most Precious Thing God Bestowed Upon Us, My Second Home,Branding Yourself to Social Network Attract Traffics, I Listen The Spirit’s Whisper–part One.

I quoted here some of the reasons why Triond declined my articles.

First reason: “You have submitted duplicate content. We have found identical content already published on-line. You can only submit original content that has never before been published in whole or in part on the Internet. This includes duplicate items that you yourself have authored.”

Second reason: “We would like to publish your submitted content, but it contains too many readability errors. Although we declined this content, you are welcome to submit any new content to Triond, just make sure to double-check it for correct spelling, punctuation and/or grammar.”

What I learned from my mistakes?

After those rejections, I started reading now some of Triond Policies and I worked hard to understand them clearly. I had developed the patience on rewriting those declined articles with my intention to offer them on other sites that pay as I believe Triond will no longer accept them for publication here. Now those declined articles are already earning on those websites I am also contributing aside from Triond. If I chose “Do not” I could not write this article.

Do not insist! 

Triond is using a powerful and a sophisticated tool to monitoring and to spotting duplicate contents. If it happened to you also, just calm down, do not insist and follow the rules. The best thing is to start rewriting them and offer them to other sites that pay!

Our Triond Pages are Traffics Generators Too

Have heard this before that our Triond pages could be our blogs too? And whatever you update at your Triond page could reach to hundreds and thousands of people around the world without any restriction.

When you open your triond profile page you will see that some of your articles are posted under your Triond’s Portfolio. If you already have written many articles, the first ten articles are visible.

In your triond profile page there are two important links: The Author User’s link and the Subscribe to Feed link. These are the links needed to register to networkedblogs and if it is approved your triond page becomes your blog at networkedblogs.

What is NetworkedBlogs?

Networkedblogs is another feature to enjoy by Facebook users that help promote their blogs on Facebook and has the power to syndicate their feeds to their walls and fans pages. There are about approximately 1,000,000 users using this feature and still counting, and it is considered as the largest community of bloggers and blog lovers on Facebook.

How to Register at Networkedblog:

My Triond Profile Page at Facebook NetworkedBlogs

Here you don’t need to become an internet wizard. By following simple intructions, you can create your nice blog at networkedblogs. What to do?

Open your facebook account and look for netwrokedblogs. It can be done by typing the word netwrokedblogs in the search section or look down at your facebook profile photo, the networkedblogs feature is under it.

When you are already inside the networkedblogs section, at the upper right corner you will see “Register a Blog” click that section and you will be directed to inside that section to register your blog.

Then Fill up the registration form, first your Blog Name, under it you can add a tagline if you need to. Second write the URL, the link to the home page of the blog which is your Triond Author User’s link and then fill up the language section, topic section and write your blog descriptions and at the bottom click the next and you will be directed to the next page.

There you will be asked to write the URL Feed which is your Triond Subscribe Feed link and after filling up the URL Feed, in few seconds you will see that the first ten articles posted at your triond page are now visible. Then you will be asked again to click the “Pull Now” after clicking the “pull now” you will be advised to check your facebook profile page to see the published article. And then go back to your networkedblog to finalize the registration.

Then activate the “Syndication“ by clicking it. It is found at the right side of the blog page you created. That section will syndicate your article to send off to your facebook ads and pages, to your facebook community groups, to your facebook profile page, and to facebook news feed.

And lastly activate the twitter section found at the bottom of your blog. After clicking the twitter you will see your “Twitter Account” and you will be asked to allow facebook to connect to your twitter account. If you chose allow, then it is now the job of facebook to tweet your articles to twitter.

What Benefits You will get from this Technique?

First of all, you will learn that your Triond page could become a blog. Your Triond page can be an amazing traffic generator too. Your Triond page can be used to promote the Triond community to thousands of people around the world. You will learn how to syndicate your articles by using the networkedblogs at facebook. And the most important is – it is now the job of facebook to share your updated articles from your Triond page through your blog at networkedblogs to thousands of facebook users and at the same time tweeting them to twitter legally and without restriction and spamming!

The topics include politics, natural disasters, music, arts, the listing of significant individuals and those who died during the past year and many more.

“Happy New Year” that greetings will be said and heard as the New Year approaches. But the day celebrated as New Year’s Day wasn’t always January 1.

Janus Geminus

During the Middle Age, New Year’s Day was celebrated among Christians usually on March 25 (Roman Calendar).After the adoption of the Gregorian calendar in 1582, the day was observed on the January 1. The Jewish New Year is the first day of Tishri, which falls some time in September or in early October. The Chinese New Year is between January 10 and February 19 of the Gregorian calendar. The Muslim New Year falls on the first day of Muharram. The Muslims will celebrate their New Year for this year on December 7, 2010 – corresponding Arabic calendar Muharram 1, 1432H.

Who is Janus?

The month of January is named for Janus. In Roman mythology, Janus was the god of gates, doors, doorways, beginnings and endings. He was known as Janus Geminus (twin Janus) with two faces looking in opposite directions. The first hour of the day, the first day of the month and the first month of the year bears his name.

Janus is symbolizing the god of change and transitions such as, the progression of past to future, of one condition and of one vision to another. And because Janus symbolizes them, the making of New Year’s resolutions had become a tradition of the season. People begin to think of what they would like to change for the next year. They make resolutions for everything they can think of. And of course, I also did it the same thing as well. Although I asked sometimes in my own language Filipino, “Kailangan bang hintayin pa natin ang pagpalit ng taon, kung may gusto tayong baguhin sa ating mga sarili?”

Janus was also worshipped at the beginning of the harvest and planting times, as well as marriages, births and other beginnings. During his reign Janus was the first to announce the golden age. He introduced the important of money, laws and agriculture – that making him a culture hero.
