A condom is a barrier device most commonly used during love - making to reduce the probability of pregnancy and spreading sexually transmitted diseases such as gonorrhea, syphilis, and HIV. It is put on a man’s erect penis and physically blocks ejaculated semen from entering the body of a sexual partner. But condoms have other uses – believe it or not!

How often we, Filipinos become the object of laughter? And those incidents sometimes have been brought to forum groups as debate subjects. People who belittled Filipinos do not realized that Filipinos have some unique ways to show vengeance in a very friendly manner without hurting people – to tell them that never mess with Filipinos.

Read and listen on the conversation of two people inside a fast-food restaurant. By the way, don’t take this seriously. Laughter is the best medicine ever!

At a fast-food restaurant a Filipino is enjoying his hearty breakfast: coffee, croissants, toast, butter, jam and etc. when an American friend who was chewing a gum came around, sits next to him and started an unwanted conversation.

“You Filipinos eat the whole bread?”

“Of course,” replied the Filipino.

(Blowing bubble with his gum) the American friend said, “We don’t. In the States, we only eat what’s inside. The crusts, we collect them and put them in a container then recycled, re-baked them into croissants and sell them to the Philippines. D’ya eat jam with the bread?”

“Of course,” the Filipino answered smiling.

(Chuckling and crackling his gum between his teeth) the American friend said, “We don’t. In the States, we eat fruit for breakfast, put all the peels, seeds and leftovers into containers, recycled them into jam and sell them to the Philippines.”

“Do you have sex in America ?” asked the Filipino.

“Of course we do,” replied the American friend.

“And what do you do with the condoms?” the Filipino asked again.

“Throw them away of course,” the American friend answered quickly.

The Filipino replied, “We don’t. In Philippines, we put them into a container, recycled them, melt them down into chewing gum and sell them to America!”
